Yesterday, all the local primary schools got together with Debenham High School to showcase the work we have all been doing to develop resilience in our children.
Five children from Wetheringsett demonstrated the skills and lessons they had learnt during Skipping Week earlier in the year. All children's skipping had improved over the week and our Growth Mindsets ethos was re-enforced - that you get better through practice, time and teaching.
The children who represented the school at the roadshow did a brilliant job, showing their skills, talking to people and encouraging all sorts of people to have a go at skipping. They were delighted to persuade Miss Upton, the headteacher at the high school to have a go too!
