Christmas Service

Our youngest children were wonderful in their nativity in the church last night. They said their lines beautifully and sang their songs nice and loudly.

Our older children read some bible verses and lead the singing of Christmas songs, accompanied by percussion.

Forest School

Our Year 5 & 6 children in Chestnut Tree Class have been enjoying lots of activities in their Forest School sessions this half term.

Some lovely Christmas tree decorations were made this afternoon out of leaves and conkers to decorate some of the trees.

Other children (and adults!) enjoyed balancing over the mud pit.

Others made their own fun.

Bethany's Amazing Homophones!

Children in Year 2 have been learning about homophones (which, as they will tell you, are words that sound the same but have different spellings and different meanings). For their homework, they were given the challenge of listing as many sets of homophones as they could. We were expected to get maybe 20 or so, so were flabbergasted when Bethany came to school with page after page of them - a total of 119 sets of homophones! Well done Bethany!
