Learning Power Superheroes

On Friday morning, children worked in mixed aged groups to design and make a superhero to represent each of our learning powers - perverse, notice details, collaborate, manage distractions, ask good questions and imitate. Using our learning powers helps us be better learners and are part of this year's focus on developing children's learning behaviour.

It was great to see the creativity and collaboration shown in each group. Each superhero was completely different from any other and they were given amazing names like 'The Collaborator', 'Penelope Persevere' and 'Max the Distraction Manager'.

Each group then presented their superhero in a special assembly.
The children learnt a lot about learning powers, but had a great time too. One child said 'It was like we had Golden Time all morning!'.
